Alaska Salmon Fishing Trips & Packages
 The Kenai River in Alaska is home to the world's largest salmon with the record catch weighing in at 97.4 lbs. Perhaps you will be the one to break the 100 lb. record. The King Salmon Derby in local Soldotna provides the chance to win a $50,000 first prize for landing the next world record.
The Kenai River sonar fish count shows that between 50,000 to 80,000 Kings pass through in July during the second run. Late May and June show a slightly smaller run. Make your dream come true. The King bag limit is one per day or two for the season on the Kenai. You can still catch more Kings from other rivers around Alaska after your Kenai limit is reached.

 King of the River offers a luxurious roomy boat, which is handicap accessible. You will never have to wait for my boat to be launched. Once you meet us at the dock we're ready to go!
We handle four clients at a time for the a.m. (1/2-day) and for the p.m. (1/2-day) or four clients per full day. Boats are also available on a subcontract referral basis. For larger groups we request that you reserve well in advance. Based on past experience I have had as many as 26 clients in a single day with six boats at my fishing site.
You can expect quality and professional guide services from King of the River. We take great care in making your day on the river a memorable experience. After a day on the Kenai River our staff will be there to help you unload, filet your catch for easy shipping, and snap pictures of your catch which are published on our website.
Our Boat is a comfortable luxury aluminum boat with four armrest cushion seats and rod holders. I am professionally certified as a guide by the Coast Guard and hold a license issued by them. I am also insured with the state of Alaska. I have a deckhand who will assist you in your fishing and will professionally clean your catch for you. We have the highest quality of fishing gear (rods and reels) and provide rain gear,- binoculars, unlimited tackle and bait, life jackets and gloves.
