Hi Reina,
We just got home and are still talking about how much we enjoyed our 2 days on the river with Dean and Jacob!
We had a great time and we were very pleased with the experience. We will definitely be back again!
Please give our best regards to Dean. He is one great fisherman and guide! Jacob too…a fine young man.
Thanks for making our vacation so much fun!
Best regards,
John, Dee Dee, and Ryan (Hussey)

Dean,
Thanks for the great time fishing for King Salmon, our family had a terrific time! My oldest daughter had a great time with that 41 pound Salmon.
This was the first time we have ever been out doing this type of fishing for these types of fish. You and your helper Jacob were very helpful and fun.
Thanks again, Mark, Samela, Andrea and Deanna Beasom

Dean, greetings from Gig Harbor, Washington where we returned last Thursday evening following our wonderful Kenai River trip with you on Wednesday afternoon. Never in my life did I think I would catch a 42 lb king salmon. Thanks to you, my dream came true, and I will always be grateful for your assistance in that regard.
FYI, I made caviar on Friday, and it is wonderful. Thanks ever so much for allowing me to take a portion of the eggs from my fish.
For your 2009 picture post, I'm sending you the picture of you and me with my king. As you know, this picture was taken with my camera, and I can easily remove the Alaska 2009 notation if you so desire and resend a clean picture to you. Let me know if you want me to do this.
Finally, we will contact you again for another trip on the Kenai River when we return to Alaska in either the summer of 2010 or 2011. In the meantime, we also appreciate your helpfulness in storing our fishing net for us.
Take care and enjoy the rest of your summer in beautiful Alaska.
Best Regards,
Tatyana

Dean,
I just wanted to thank you for the great day of fishing with my son Cam this last week. Not only was it a successful trip, he had never caught a silver before and limited out, but it was simply a very pleasant experience for us both. Oh - and your fishing skills are only rivaled by your filleting skills. Those were some well prepared fillets from those 4 silvers. I thought you got more meat off of them than was possible.
I look forward to booking with you again and hope to try Kings next year. My son has never caught a king so maybe we can start making this a yearly habit, or more often if schedules and budgets allow.
Thanks again,
Ben Brown

Dean,
Thank you for being so gracious in being our guide. After my father caught his two fairly quickly and seemingly nothing after that, even though weather was beautiful you could have chosen to discourage us by stating the silver run was probably still early or simply the run was weak. However, you persevered and brought us to three more places hoping that we would connect up with a good pool. I thank you for not giving up. You were also very gracious in putting up with our curiosity of how to do things and when to do them. My father and friend, Dan had a grand time on our trip and would not be hesitant in seeking you out for another excursion if that opportunity presented itself.
I also appreciate your willingness to tell me a little about your journey and to tolerate my questions concerning ASL . I really do think that ASL is a fascinating language and wish I could have learned more from my classes of long ago to be able to more clearly communicate with you while on board the boat. One of my childhood memories is learning “Jesus Loves Me” using ASL in a Sunday school class and I have never forgotten it. It was fun telling my wife about your purposeful ways of getting us in just the right position to maximize the opportunities.
So God bless and I hope that your “King of the River” operation continues and even grows to new levels.
Sincerely,
Dennis T.
